Fortunoff Backyard Store

Andrea greeted me immediately upon entering the store in a friendly and not overbearing way. She was informed and helpful as I looked at firepit options, using her iPad to give me real time answers to my questions. I bought two firepits and arranged delivery for Wednesday. Great experience. Btw…great product, too. I drove over an hour to inspect the quality of construction and was more than satisfied.

Fortunoff furniture is extremely overpriced for the quality and our overall experience was very poor. My credit card was charged the full purchase price back on April 27th, but delivery was not complete until July 22nd. I was not told about any July dates when I placed the order. How can Fortunoff legally accept payment for items that I won't have in my possession for almost 3 months without getting my prior consent? The cushion quality is very poor. When I removed the stuffing to wash them, I saw many loose strings. I fear they might unravel or cause pulls if I actually do wash them. Finally, the "white glove" delivery (that we paid over $500 for!) was disappointing to say the least. The delivery personnel had difficulty communicating in English and did not fully assemble the fire pit. They also requested to drive on our lawn because the furniture was "too heavy".

I always love coming to Fortunoff for all of my summer outdoor furniture. The quality is second to none and the selection is always outstanding. On top of that the store employees are consistently friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Shopping here is always a great experience and I highly recommend Fortunoff to anyone looking for beautiful, high- quality outdoor furniture.

I purchased an outdoor dining set with eight chairs from Fortunoff about 3½ years ago, and the chairs are now completely unusable! They began warping and tearing about a year after purchase, which is unacceptable for furniture that should be built to last. When I contacted Fortunoff, I was told there was nothing they could do because the three-year warranty from the furniture company had expired. However, the issues started well before that point, and the chairs should not be falling apart after normal use in such a short period of time. Robert, the manager literally had no remedy or concern. So far, Emily from corporate has been short and not helpful either. I am disappointed by the lack of accountability, customer service, and goodwill. Companies should stand behind the products they sell, especially when the quality clearly does not meet reasonable expectations. I’m not talking about a little rip, they are unusable! I will continue reaching out through every appropriate outlet until this is resolved. Customers deserve better. I’m hoping Natalie from corporate will take a more conscientious approach and provide better customer service to resolve the issue. In the meantime, take y

We had an issue with our poly wood outdoor table where cracks developed. I contacted customer service who responded very quickly, contacted the manufacturer, and arranged for a store credit for the full amount paid within days. After visiting my local store, I chose a similar poly table and paid the difference. Fortunoff will deliver the new table and pickup the damaged table free of charge. We are extremely satisfied!!!
